I'm a big fan of Patrick Dempsey (he'll always be just a TV actor to me). That being said, the movie was legitimately funny but could have been much funnier had they had someone like Owen Wilson or Vince Vaughn as the lead role, both of whom are much more adept to the style of comedy they were going for. I did like how there wasn't very much "cheese" considering it's a romantic comedy but some of the storyline is very unrealistic in terms of real life. Women will thoroughly enjoy it while guys will be indifferent. For all the guys who will take their girl to see it, Michelle Monaghan is great eye candy.
p/s:i like the soundtrack too...
