Alhamdulillah ..Amna sudah berusia 6 bulan! she just started her solid foooooooddddddd!!
Memang best and excited untuk pengalaman pertama bg Amna makan..mana taknya dah 6 bulan BF kalini nak menyuap anak mengunakan sudu ..memang banyak ilmu yang I kutip dari pelbagai resource.Siap beli buku jangan tak tahu tinggal tak pegi kelas je sebab dekat sini council ade buat parenting class for newly parents gituu..Dekat Australia khususnya when baby starts solid food they call it as "weaning" or bercerai susu dalam bahasa .Indeed, weaning the baby is an exciting milestone for any parents.YES WE ARE!

Babycook from Beaba .Boon punya solid food equipment just so so so cute! And yes buku!Buku from Annabel Karmel.Kalau malas google sahaja.Awal-awal kena bust jadual.Jadual makanan anak-anak.I did jadual not only for my anak untuk bapak anak pun ada jadual nak masak apa hari ke hari.

Amna sungguh excited ..sangat-sangat bila kami start introduced her BABY RICE!!!
So ye,,sebagai ibu yang prihatin (eceh) I did lot of studies and preparation as well.Sebagai seorang ibu yang memberikan Exclusive BreastMILK kepada anak adalah elok sekiranya memulakan solid food seawal 6 bulan ..tapi kalau firasat ibu rasa anak dia lapar x cukup susu,boleh lah dimulakan solid food seawal 4-6 bulan.Tapi harus ingat terdapat pelbagai faktor yang menunjukkan bahawa baby tu dah ready nak makan.Antaranya :-
- no longer satisfied by a full milk feed
- demanding frequent milk
- wake in the night for milk
- interested in watching others eat
- abble to support her head and neck well in a sitting position
Jadi kalau baby anda sudah menunjukkan reaksi di atas boleh la sekiranya introduce Pelan-pelan.Tapi yang paling penting INTRODUCTION must be with MILK either BREASTMILK or FORMULA MILK.Dalam situasi I,Of course Susu Ibu lemak bercream caramel .
What to give?
Food Ideas for baby aged 6-7 months :-
Iron fortified rice cereal mixed with breast milk, formula or cooled boiled water.
Vegetables (pureed) such as potato, pumpkin, sweet potato,carrot, broccoli, peas, zucchini.
Stewed apples, peaches, pears, apricots (no extra sugar).
Mashed soft avocado. So yes ...untuk 1st timer like me.I give Rice cereal + breast milk for 3 times.Setiap kali nk introduce keen ajar 3 kali untuk setiap makanan yang baru.Tetapi mengikut buku katanya bayi yang fully BF tiada masalah kalau nk bagi makan apa2 sebab dah biasa merasa melalui susu ibu berbanding bayi formula milk.So far,Amna Maryam boleh adapt dengan makanan baru.
Harus di ingat JANGAN menambah perisa atau apa2 sahaja untuk menyedapkan makanan bayi.Makanan bayi haruslah neutral.In a sense baby baru nak develop .Kidney boleh rosak kalau introduce such thing to baby.Not only baby kalau kita makan terlalu banyak perasa pun bahaya jugak ?kan?kan?
SALT
Salt is reccommended to be avoided till your baby is 12 months old. It is believed baby's kidney's aren't mature enough tocope with salt at a young age. Keep salt use to minimal.
SUGAR IN THE FOOD
Extra sugar is not required for the baby's development. It just provides kilojules with no food value. Once your child gets the taste of sugar, he/she will give you hard time in accepting savoury food.
Honey
It is advised not to give honey to baby under 12 months of age for the possibilty of presence of bacteria harmful for babies.
Undiluted Fruit Juices
Juices
need to be diluted in the proportion of one part juice to 10 parts water
Egg Whites
Egg whites may trigger allergic reaction, so is advised to be introduced after 12 months of age. However eggs yolk can be introduced from 9 months of age.
Cow's milk
Cow' milk is advised to be given as main drink after 12 months of age. It lacks essential vitamins and minerals required for baby' growth. A older baby can get these nutrients from other food.
Low fat food or Milk
Don't give low fat, skim or evaporated milk,thinking that you are giving them good start. Low-fat foods will not provide enough energy required for growth.
Choking with food
Be careful about the food that can cause choking such as
grapes,
undercooked vegetables
large pieces of fruit.
nuts
chopped sausages and hotdogs
popcorn lollies
Jadi mari mejadi ibu bapa yang prihatin.Memberi banyak nutrisi dan makanan seimbang yang bagus untuk tumbesaran anak2.
